Our Story

music brought us together

New to the city and hoping to meet new people, Matt ventured out for his roommate's birthday on December 1st, 2003 - World Aids Day - to a fundraiser called Blades Against AIDS at the Chelsea Piers ice-skating rink. There he met a couple of guys with whom he had a similar interest in singing, and they encouraged him to join their choir, the Grace Church Choral Society. After giving it some thought, Matt decided to go for it and at his very first rehearsal, David was the first person he saw. "Maybe this choir thing is going to work out just fine," Matt thought... and the pair have been making music ever since!

Wedding Details

We had a religious ceremony at our church home where we are parishioners and have sung in the choir for over 10 years, followed by a cocktail dinner reception at the amazing and newly built God's Love We Deliver space in Soho.
